World Population 2023

According to the United Nations, In 1950 the world population was estimated at around 2.6 billion people. It reached 5 billion in 1987 and 6 billion in 1999. In October 2011, the world population was estimated to be 7 billion.

The world’s population is expected to increase by 2 billion persons in the next 30 years, from 7.7 billion currently to 9.7 billion in 2050, and could peak at nearly 11 billion around 2100. As per the UN estimated world population in 2022 is 7,975,105,156 ( 7.97 Billion or 797 Crores)
