Vasai Virar Population 2024
Vasai Virar located 50+ km north of Mumbai is a city in the Konkan division of Maharashtra, it is located in Palghar District, & lies north of Vasai Creek and south of the Vaitarna River. It’s part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and according to the 2011 census, it is the fifth-largest city in Maharashtra. Vasai-Virar is an agglomeration of four previously governed municipal councils i.e. Vasai (Bassein), Virar, Nallasopara & Navghar-Manikpur; as well as a few towns on the west as well as the east of the congested urban area.
As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of Vasai Virar City in 2011 was 1,222,390 (12.22 Lakh) and the estimated population of Vasai-Virar in 2024 is 17 lakh.
