Religion in Nauru

Christianity is the main religion in  Nauru and 92% of the population is Christian. As per the census, approximately two-thirds of Christians are Protestant, and the remainder is Catholics. The largest Protestant denomination is the Nauru Congregational Church, Assemblies of God, and Nauru  Independent Church.

The ethnic Chinese on the island, approximately 8% of the population, may be Confucian, Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, or nonreligious.
