Mango is a city and a suburb of Jamshedpur city, Jharkhand.  It’s under Jamshedpur Metropolitan Area and It’s a Municipal Corporation. Mango Municipal Corporation has the status of a ‘city’ according to the government through being part of the main city of Jamshedpur. As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Mango City in 2011 was 224,002 (2.24 Lakh), and the estimated population of Mango in 2023 is 3 lakh (approx)

The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Mango for 2011 was 12444 people per sq. km. Mango City administers an area is 18.3 sq. km

The average literacy rate of Mango City in 2011 was 86.62 %. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 91.56 % and 62.59 %. respectively. The total literate in Mango City was 169,548 of which 92,914 are males while 76,634 are females.
