Islam is the majority religion in Libya and its followed by 96.6% of the population. Most Muslims belong to the Sunni branch and a small number of Ibadi Muslims live in the country. Christianity at 2.7% is the minority religion and other smaller religion is followed by 0.7% of the population. Other religion includes Hinduism, Buddhism, and Baháʼí Faith.
