Junagadh is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat. Located at the foot of the Girnar hills, 355 kilometers southwest of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar (the state capital), it is the seventh-largest city in the state.

As per the 2011 census, the divided Junagadh District population is 1,525,605 (15.25 Lakh) and its estimated population in 2024 is 18 lakh.
