As per the provisional reports of Census India, the population of Jaipur City in 2011 was 30,46,163 (30.46 Lakhs) of which the male population is 16,03,125 and the female population is 14,43,038.

DENSITY

The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Jaipur for 2011 is 6500 people per sq. km. Jaipur city administers area is 467 sq. km.

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Jaipur City in 2011 was 72.73%. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 76.65% and 67.17% respectively. The total literate in Jaipur city was 2,215,535 of which 1,246,245 are males while 969,290 are females.

SEX RATIO

With regards to the Sex Ratio in Jaipur, it stood at 900 per 1000 males. The average national sex ratio in India is 940 as per the latest reports of the Census 2011 Directorate. In the 2011 census, the child sex ratio was 855 girls per 1000 boys.

CHILD POPULATION

Jaipur District is a district of the state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It is the tenth most populous district in India. In 2011, Jaipur District had a population of 66,26,178 (66.26 Lakh) of which male and female were 3,468,507 and 3,157,671 respectively.
