LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Dhanbad City in 2011 was  79.47%. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 86.14% and 71.96%. respectively. Total literate in Dhanbad city was 8,05,982 of which 4,62,420 are males while 3,43,562 are females.

SEX RATIO
