Deoghar City and District Population

As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Deoghar City in 2011 was 203,116 (2.03 Lakhs) of which the male population is 108,243 and the female population is 94,873

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Deoghar City in 2011 was 86.80 %. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 92.80% and 79.98%. respectively. The total literate in Deoghar city was 153,807 of which 87,540 are males while 66,267 are females.
