As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Bilaspur City in 2011 was 330,106 (3.30 Lakhs) of which the male population is 169,738 and the female population is 160,368

The initial provisional data released by Census India 2011, shows that the density of Bilaspur for 2011 is 2410 people per sq. km. The Bilaspur city administers area is 137 sq. km

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Bilaspur City in 2011 was 88.76 %. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 93.76 % and 83.51%. respectively. The total literate in Shahjahanpur city was 260,654 of which 141,169 are males while 119,485 are females.
