The initial provisional data released by Census India 2011, shows that the density of Bhopal is 3887 people per sq. km. Bhopal city administers an area of 236 sq. km & its UA is 336 sq. km
LITERACY RATE
The average literacy rate of Bhopal City in 2011 was 83.47%. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 87.45% and 79.16% respectively. Total literate in Bhopal city was 13,20,675 of which 7,20,207 are males while 6,00,468 are females.
SEX RATIO
With regards to the Sex Ratio in Bhopal, it stood at 921 per 1000 males. The average national sex ratio in India is 940 as per the latest reports of the Census 2011 Directorate. In the 2011 census, the child sex ratio is 919 girls per 1000 boys
CHILD POPULATION
