Ajmer is one of the major and oldest cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located at the center of Rajasthan and is home to the Ajmer Sharif shrine. LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Ajmer City in 2011 was 86.52 %. If things are looked out at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 92.08 % and 80.69 % respectively. The total literate in Ajmer city was 4,16,511 of which 2,26,757 are males while 1,89,754 are females.
