The initial provisional data released by Census India 2011, shows that the density of Agra District for 2011 is 1084 people per sq. km. Agra city administers area is 120 sq. km and the district area is 4041 Sq.km
LITERACY RATE
The average literacy rate of Agra City in 2011 was 73.11%. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 77.81% and 67.74% respectively. The total literate in Agra city was 10,14,872 of which 5,75,475 are males while 4,39,397 are females.
SEX RATIO
With regards to the Sex Ratio in Agra, it stood at 875 per 1000 males. The average national sex ratio in India is 940 as per the latest reports of the Census 2011 Directorate. In the 2011 census, the child sex ratio is 857 girls per 1000 boys
CHILD POPULATION
