Nanded Police is part of the Maharashtra Police & responsible for maintaining Law and Order & traffic in Nanded District. Nanded Police comes under the Aurangabad police range of Maharashtra Police. District Police of Nanded is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP).
He is assisted by Two Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) & One Deputy Superintendent of Police. The district is further divided into 10 Subdivisions headed by SDPOs.
Nanded Police is divided into 10 Sub- Division headed by Sub Division Police Officer. These subdivisions are Nanded city, Itwara, Kandhar, Deglur, Biloli, Nanded rural, Dharmabad, Bhokar, Mahur & Kinwat. Police Stations in Nanded comes under these SDPOs.
