Ajmer Police General Information
The Ajmer police are part of the Rajasthan police & responsible for maintaining Law and Order enforcement in the Ajmer District. Ajmer district comes under the Ajmer police range of Rajasthan Police. The Ajmer range is headed by the Inspector General of Poice, IGP Ajmer Range.
Ajmer Police is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP). He is assisted by Four Additional superintendents of Police (Addl. SP) and 3 Deputy superintendents of Police.
Ajmer Police has Nine circles – Ajmer Rural, Beawar, Dargah, Kekdi, Kishangarh, Kishangarh Rural, Naseerabad, North & South. Each Circle is headed by Circle Officer & has 3-4 Police Stations under it. Ajmer Police has 34 Law & order Police stations including Women Police Station. Besides Law & Order, it also has other branches i.e Crime, Anti Corruption, Traffic, Women Cell, SC/ST cell, Control room, Highway patrolling, etc. The List of Police stations is as follows
