Andhra Pradesh Population by Religion

Andhra Pradesh is the tenth most populous state of India and has a diverse population of many religions & communities. At the census 2011, out of the 4.93 Crore population, around 4.48 crores (90.87%) have returned themselves as followers of the Hindu religion, 36 lakhs (7.33%) as Muslims or followers of Islam, 6.82 Lakhs (1.38%) as Christians. In addition, 0.33% Stated as No religion and 0.09% are other religions.
