As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of Ujjain City in 2011 was 5,15,215 (5.15 Lakhs) of which the male population was 2,64,871 and the female population was 2,50,344

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Ujjain City in 2011 was 84.43 %. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 89.66 % and 78.90 % respectively. The total literate in Ujjain city was 385,193 of which 2,10,075 are males while 1,75,118 are females.

SEX RATIO
