As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of Jodhpur  City in 2011 is 10,33,756 (10.33 Lakhs)  of which the male population is 5,43,120 and the female population is 4,90,636

DENSITY

The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Jodhpur for 2011 is 13692 people per sq. km. Jodhpur city administers an area is 75.50 sq. km.

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Jodhpur City in 2011 was  80.81%. If things are looked out at gender-wise, male and female literacy was  87.47% and  73.46%. respectively. The total literate in Jodhpur city was 7,29,012 of which 4,14,138  are males while 3,14,874 are females.

SEX RATIO

With regards to the Sex Ratio in Jodhpur, it stood at 903 per 1000 males. The average national sex ratio in India is 940 as per the latest reports of the Census 2011 Directorate. In the 2011 census, the child sex ratio is 890 girls per 1000 boys.

CHILD POPULATION
