Grenada is an island country in the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea at the southern end of the Grenadines island chain. Grenada consists of the island of Grenada itself, two smaller islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, and several small islands which lie to the north of the main island and are a part of the Grenadines.

Grenada is a Christian-majority country and 86.4% of the population adheres to Christianity.  Among Christians, Protestant churches (49.2%) are the largest grouping followed by Roman Catholic (29.6%) and Jehovah’s Witness at 1.2%.

Rastafari is followed by 1.2% of the population. Non-Christian faiths account for 5.5% and include Islam, Hinduism, Baháʼí Faith, Jews, and African traditional faiths. The remaining 10.6% are classified as unaffiliated, which can mean agnostic, atheist, or “nothing in particular.”
